Successful
I just wanna be, I jus wanna be successful.
Yea successful one of Drakes latest tracks out there from his mix tape. But the song is very inspiring. I mean except for the hoes part, I'm a married man. But the money, cars, clothes, etc. Yea its true I do wanna be successful. And I mean and I've always wanted that since way before this song even came out. But sometimes in life, as you review your life, thoughts come to mind. Like have you done all you can or is there more you can do reach your goals of being successful.
I know I'm still working on mines. And to some people success is measured on different levels. If you have your own car, place to live, and a job, married some people considered that successful. Some say being alive to see another day is successful. I know for me I've put my life into chapters. And these chapters obviously don't go in order. My life is like a book that is still in its editing stage. And the final copy won't be done till I move on.
One of the most recent chapters that just closed was me becoming unemployed and finding work. And boy was me finding work was so key in plans. Because my ultimate plan is to have a house of our own. And to me that will be success for me. Like I've told my friends before there comes a point in your life when you realize that your getting older. You need things of your own, you need to settle down. You cant live the wild life forever. It takes it's toll on you physically, mentally, and financially.
For me as I got older I realized these things and just made goals for myself. And I am slowly reaching these goals. And I will get there.

Just Rambling II
I was so surprised when I received the email from the recruiting manager, telling that they liked my resume and were interested in having an interview with me. So I responded ASAP. Had a phone interview. She liked what she heard I guess cause right afterward she set me up with a second interview with the manager of the location. I went there did pretty good with that I guess, cause she gave me a tour of the area I would be working at, and then offered me the job. I was so happy man, took everything in me to keep my composure.
So I've been working there ever since this past Monday, you know orientation and a series of classes. Today was my first official day in my location. I think it went pretty well. Can't wait to learn more there. I'm going to try and turn the experiences that I learned at my previous job into pluses here. I learned a lot at my previous job and I am thankful to them for that. But it started to become a chore you know. And when I was out of work for this past month it gave me time to reflect. I realized that I have to make it the best for me. I will admit that there was a part of me that was concerned with what my fellow peers thought about the work I was putting out. But I shouldn't be concerned with what they think. It's about me doing what I know should be done. And whats right, not whats right in their eyes.
I'm serious about trying to get into a supervisor or management position. I'm 26 years old and I don't want to be an hourly for the rest of my life. I'm trying to look towards me and my wife's future. We trying to make this house chapter in our life a reality. That's why we trying to get the bills taking care of like right now. We gotta a few big bills we have to knock out but I believe we almost there. And I strongly do believe a house is in our future. But I gotta go that's enough rambling for now. Yall take care.

Applications 15, Interviews 3, Hirings 0
Things were looking good she said that they were looking for maybe four more line cooks. They were suppose to be making phone calls today. Guess who didn't get one, that's right yours truly. I guess they assumed I was unreliable. I can't believe she asked me that. I mean it is a reasonable question to ask especially since I was fired from my last job due to my attendance. But see there is a story behind that. And I don't know how true what I heard is but, the reality is no job wants to hear it. Not enough room on the application to explain it, and not enough time during an interview.
It's hard for me to put it into words but pretty much what it all balls down to is that I technically shouldn't of been let go from my job. I'm having it looked into right now and I am waiting on word. But what got me fired was a new rule that was implemented at the beginning of this year. So what ever happened last year should of been cleared away within the old rules. But I don't want to get into conspiracy theories cause I could go all night.
But I totally believe what is killing me about getting hired with another job is this termination due to my attendance. I'm a reliable person, just that I get sick a lot. And most of it is due to me pushing myself with a lot of hours and not getting enough rest. But when I work I give my all at work on time always there. But enough of this. Ain't like a potential employer is reading this. I mean it'll be sweet. Maybe you can reach and get me a job. Ha ha.
But what it looks like is that I may have to apply for another theme park. I know I won't be happy there but I need a job desperately. At least then I will have work and it will be a lot easier to move into a job that I really want. But I'm going to wait on that. I have to see if my claim for unemployment went through. If that did then I'm going to wait and see if more jobs are hiring during the holiday season. Maybe that's what it is. I'm hoping and praying that's what it is. But it doesn't look like it. Because the first and third interview were two places that were just opening up and I didn't get the job. And I'm sick of this.
Sometimes I wish I could just win the lottery so me and my wife can go on an extended vacation and not worry about the everyday cares of working and maintaining a certain amount of hours to make rent or electric or whatever payment. I mean I would pay all of our bills off, by us a nice house so all we have to do is just pay the taxes on the land. Take care of our parents and then just go away.
But let me stop dreaming. This is reality, I'm an unemployed 26 year old. Who's hoping to start collecting on unemployment, and still waiting & calling jobs hes applied for hoping and praying for work. Ugh I need a job. I desperately need a job.

And the Search Continues
I must of applied to like 15-20 jobs and that was in my first 4 days of unemployment. On Wednesday of last week I had an interview at the olive garden. Unfortunately they weren't hiring at the moment. But the manager did tell me he might b needing an extra line cook around the holidays.
So hopefully that's my ticket in. In the mean time I keep applying every were I can. I've applied for unemployment. Hopefully I can get that. That way I can get some extra income into the house. I mean they usually pay you what you were getting paid at your last job. So here's hoping.
But this whole being unemployed really starts to get to you Na mean. Its like being on a vacation that you didn't want. And you start to feel like a burden. Or useless. I hate this feeling. I need to find something constructive to do. Something to pass the time by. And I got just the thing.
I'm going to start hitting the gym at least twice a day. You know keep me busy. I might as well get my weight down. I'm going to also start reading more. I got a book hear that I've been meaning to read for a while now. So I might as well get started.
Hopefully I will hear from jobs soon. I'm praying that I do. I'm going to start making some phone calls to. I need something to get me out this slump. Any way I'll holla

A Humbled Man
"OK sir here you go, let's do it."
Yeah the last dialogue spoken between me and my manager after I was terminated from my long standing job of almost 4 years. I mean I have nobody to blame but myself for this, I should of kept a better eye on my record card. I thought one thing which by the old rules was correct. But about 2 years ago the union contract was redrawn. Thus a whole new set of rules. Rules that no one usually finds out until its way to late. I won't go into details cause it upsets me but as I say, "it's what it is".
Did I like the job? At one point I did, My restaurant was the spot. I made a lot of good friends their. Not just in the state but in the country, and across the globe. And hey I met my wife there. So not to many complaints. I man I appreciated the managers. They were strict, but I didn't really since the favoritism amongst them. I knew it was there, I mean hey its always there Na mean. But at the time I started it was a good spot. There wasn't to much bull. But to be honest I did want out. But just not like this. You know, I wanted to leave on my own terms. I was already in the process of looking for another job. But then I get this, damn!
Now I can go ahead and spew a whole bunch of conspiracy stuff, which I thought of for a very long time. And was proven true that the managers was watching me and my wife, and that they had it in for me but whats done is done. So I digress and pray that I get a phone call soon. I mean I forgot how hard it is to look for a job. I must of filled out about 20 applications to date. And I'm about to fill out some more today while I'm here.
But I seriously felt humbled when I got terminated. I mean you take things like this for granted, but you need it. No matter how much you can't stand your job. Be grateful you have one. And you know maybe this happened for a reason. Maybe it was done to do just this, humble me. Or maybe it was my time to go and find something better suited for my skills. Only time will tell. And I'm hoping whatever happens, happens soon. Because I'm tired of being unemployed. But whatever doesn't kill me only makes me stronger. But a job gives me purpose and I miss it.

Another Chapter Closes & A New One Opens
So the wedding has come and gone. What a night, and you know whats funny? It went by very quickly. I mean all these months of preparation and everything. Only for a few hours of fun. But it was so worth it. What i feared the most never happened and it all went good. Even though I was more nervous then I had ever been in my life. I mean I was sweating up a storm. I was so calm months, weeks, days, even hours before the wedding. But then as the minutes started to countdown the nerves started to kick in and it was recking haha.
Man there was even a point when I didn't think I was going to get my suit for the wedding but I was able to pull it off. Thanks Mom & Dad, I love yall. I think one defineing moment for me was when her brother came back from Puerto Rico with the rings I purchased. We ordered them a month and half ago and received them 4 days before the wedding. And they fit perfect. See we got from a Zales out there in PR.
Were I was approved for a Zales card and recieved a card discount. Not to mention an employee discount from a friend of her twin sister. Also a going out of business sale. So not only was able to get the ring she wanted but I was able for whole lot less.Wednesday, September 9, 2009
RUMORS
So I told Carly no, what kinda nonsense is that, I mean only way that happens if I invite to come celebrate with me and my wife at a restaurant at which in that point yea you have to pay for your food. But this a full blown wedding. We just want the people we invited there to come and have a good time with us. She said OK because she heard that we have to pay for your food.
So I asked Carly who told you this, she said don't worry about it. I said how am I not gonna worry about when people are already spreading rumors about the wedding in order to stop people from going. And don't which group of people that are doing it. Its sickening. I mean its like I've said before we are all adults here. Resorting to such tactics like spreading rumors is a childish move that should of stoped back in high school. This is the real world Na mean. But I guess some people don't think like that anymore.
And to try to stop people from coming to our wedding because you didn't get an invitation is stupid. I mean we can't invite everybody. Anyway I'm out, be safe every one and as always 1luv

Talk About a Crappy Day
So yeah my fiancé tells me that Juniper coming to wedding before the invitations were even given out and she said hell yeah I'm going. Well Juniper* said they are no longer coming to the wedding because they heard that my fiancé doesn't want her there. Because Juniper gave my fiancé disciplinary action. Now whats funny about this story is my fiance hasn't been to work in almost 2 1/2 weeks at the time this story was told.
So someone at work told Juniper this rumor as to keep Juniper from going to our wedding. So I asked my fiance did Juniper talk to you to confirm that's what you want before assuming what this person said was true. She said no. I mean what the heck is wrong some people. If you here something from somebody else's mouth and not the source directly don't believe unless you go to the so called source. Any way I'm out be safe all and 1luv.

Shaving
So I got 1 more day till my 6days away from this crappy place. And I get pulled into the office to sign a witness statement. Pretty much cause I got disciplinary action against me already. And since I don't have a doctors note explaining my situation, nor do I have the money. I'm pretty much screwed
So the statement states what I'm telling you guys. So pretty much I need have it cleaned up b4 the next time I work which is tomorrow. But my statement says I won't see my barber till this Saturday. And you would think they would try to work with you but no that will be to easy.
And they tell you all this stuff oh we don't want nothing to happen to you. You are one of our most valued employees, when I know that's bull. And when u look at it from a far it isn't even bad. I'm dark u can't even tell unless u looking. Which I believe the area manager is looking, but that's another story I won't get into right now. But what can I do. I'm fighting a loosing battle. I'm just David taking on Goliath. But in this story the victor goes to the Goliath. I'm out and again 1luv

Just Rambling
And what kills me is when these parents brings there 4 kids down with them and now there taking up 5 out of 7 computers, not to mention 1 of the computers is down for who knows what reason. So it leaves the rest of us to computers to fight for. Now these 4 kids are all on the 4 computers playing bob the builder or some bull. When they all could share a computer and take turns to give the adults time to do what they gotta do. Uggghhhh!!!!! But enough venting about that.
What it all balls down to is I need my own computer, fast. But yea its been a real busy last few weeks. Especially with my wedding closing in real fast. Officially I have 9 days left. And I'm still waiting for my suit to come in. According to my pops it should be in by tomorrow, fingers crossed. Not to mention I still have to get a shirt and my shoes also. My girl got her wedding gown already. And according to her it looks lovely. Well I will holla at ya got shut down this club house soon. And remember everyone 1luv

The Possible Future of Blackberry and Bluetoothing
Possibly in a watch format. Being able to send BB mail SMS messages, and even sending music to other bluetooth devices. It would be cool to have, especially in a job cell phone use on the job isn't wanted.
Rumor: BlackBerry Bluetooth watch coming soon http://viigo.im/0ymH
Oh and here is a sneak peak of the BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 aka Odin
What do you think about something like this, leave a comment. And as always 1 luv.~MOE $
Big Brother Is Not the Only One Watching You
The Palm Pre is acting like Big Brother, watching everything that you do. Yea reports say they see everything that you do from when your log goes down, to where current location is. Now Microsoft Mobile does something similar to this aspect. But they let you know that it is for research to better service you.Estimated 230 MPG? What!?

Mike Duoba from Argonne National Lab devised a method to determine the MPG of an EREV; first the car is driven from a full battery until it reaches charge-sustaining mode, then one more cycle is driven. If we use the highway schedule, the first 40 miles are electric. One more cycle is 11 more miles. If the Volt gets 50 MPG in charge sustaining mode, it will use .22 gallons of gas for that 11 miles. Thus 51 miles/.22 gallons = 231.8 MPG.
So what the cost of something like this go for? Well MSRP is saying $40,000. But with a government tax credit will drop the price down to about $32,000 which will help more back in taxes. And the reason for the government tax credit is because the car is eco friendly. Now the good news about it is that because of you purchasing this you will get a tax break on the next tax season. Yes you can write this car off as a tax deduction.
Anyway we will see how this turns out when the car is released. So what's your opinion on this leave a comment. And 1 luv~MOE $

Weekend Wrap Up
Haha and speaking of apps and social networking sites. This week pretty much all network sites went down due to DDoS. I mean this thing put twitter almost out of commission. Facebook was almost done as well but managed to hang with its service. Twitter was out most of the day but returned later that evening. But not at full strength. It didn't fully comeback strong till about a day later.
And speaking of coming back strong, Orlando Magic's Rashard Lewis was found with elevated testosterone levels. This resulted in a 10 game suspension for the player. He later apologized to his fans and asked for forgiveness. Just another player caught up in a scandal, that's what it is.
And Big Ben Roethlisberger has been linked to an alleged sexual assault charge. But the credibility of the charge was compromised when a former coworker of the accuser stated that she didn't not seemed upset and was rather happy. So wow.
Well wraps it up for this first weekend wrap up. See guys next weekend. And this week is a good 1 for you all. 1 luv

Sex Scandal For Big Ben?

"I did not sexually assault Andrea McNulty. Saturday was the first that I learned of her accusations. Her false and vicious allegations are an attack on my family and on me. I would never, ever force myself on a woman. I want to fight to protect my family and my reputation. I'm not going to discuss my private life or this civil case in the media. I'll respond to her outrageous allegations in the appropriate forum. I have an obligation to our fans, to my teammates, to my coaches and everyone in the organization to remain focused on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I will do that. The allegations against me are reckless and false. As much as I'd like to answer every one's questions, I'm going to respect the legal process and I am confident that the truth will prevail. Thank you."
Banned for High Testosterone Levels?

Magic's Lewis banned 10 games, blames supplement http://viigo.im/0udJ
So according to sources Lewis was taking an over the counter substance that he didn't realize contained a now new banned substance on the leagues list. The good thing about him is he is accepting responsibility for his actions. And he is asking his fans for his forgiveness. Which to me is an adult thing to do.
But it brings things up. Like the dangers of players buying over the counter supplements. Its almost as if they don't know who to trust. Well not so much trust but what to take. Here these players are taking herbal supplements to stay fit and healthy. But its almost ruining their career. But I'm almost sure the supplement company isn't going to stop putting whatever it is in these supplements.
It comes to a point that maybe the players shouldn't even take these herbal supplements and just stick to regular pills such as Vitamins A, B, C, D, E, garlic and echenacia also sum centrium. You know regular vitamins. Taking these other supplements is not worth your career. Anyway what do you think hit me up. Leave a comment. And as always 1 luv.

Twitter ban? Or censored what should happen

San Diego Chargers fine Antonio Cromartie for tweet about food http://viigo.im/0sOE
You are more than welcome to check out the link its an interesting article. Antonio Cromartie was pretty much fined for complaining about the food at chargers training camp on twitter. Now the question is raised. Will certain associations such as the nfl or other sports organizations start putting a censor on these players about what they can or cannot tweet?
I already heard the U.S. Government has already stopped their soldiers from using myspace, facebook, & twitter. Which to me that is reasonable. I mean your over there suppose to be fighting a "war" not checking your friends status. Or updating yours.
But I think fining this player $2500 is ridiculous for just complaining about the food to twitter. I mean if he leaked some top secret info about the teams training or plays on twitter then fine him. But talking about the food, how petty is that. Maybe it did suck, oh well change the menu. Any way what's you guys opinion about this leave a comment.

My 1st Blog
Ok let me not keep repeating myself let me tell you a little bit about myself. I go by Moe$ or Big Moe or just Moe by most of my friends. Doesn't matter either name is acceptable. I was born back in '83 which would class me as an '80s baby. Born in Brooklyn, New York. I lived in Queens for about to years before my family decided to get a house.
From there we moved to East Orange, NJ, I lived there for 17 yrs of my life with my little sis, older sis, and both my parents. Me and both my sisters all graduated from the same high school. Newark Technical Vocational Career Center, or better known as Newark Tech. I loved that high school. Alot of good and bad and ok memories there. After my little sister graduated we decided to move from good old East Orange, to the nice sunny area of Orlando, FL. We've been here for 6yrs now.
Since i've been down here i've two jobs, found my future wife at my 2nd job. And we've currently moved into our 1st place together. We are getting married next month and hopefully moving into our 1st house next year around August. I really can't stand were I currently work so I am in the process of finding a new job and getting out of there. Hopefully soon.
On this blog I plan on discussing things that happen to be on my mind, or that goes on in my life. Not to mention discussing other things like daily topics news events and such not. Hopefully with time this blogspot will become very popular. Who know with time it could become the worlds number 1 spot for reviews and info. Heres hoping, let's get started.
